Elizabeth Staz was educated at Smith College and George Washington University with a degree in American Studies. She later received a diploma in Fine Arts from the York Academy of Art. Elizabeth has taught workshops as well as being an instructor at the Pennsylvania School of Art and Design in Lancaster PA. She has won the gold medal from the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society as well as awards from both the Pittsburgh and Baltimore Watercolor Societies. Her art is in many public and private collections. Elizabeth’s Art is the story of an inner journey which expresses itself in color and form. Chris and Carol Beverly are nature photographers from Homer, Alaska. Both developed a love of photography as children traveling the world and trying to capture the incredible sights around them. Now their primary inspiration is the beauty and endless allure of the Alaskan wilderness. Their art is characterized by vibrant light, deep shadow, and bold color. Their work is in private residences in the U.S. and Germany and can be viewed in the Ptarmigan Art Cooperative, the Art Shop Gallery, and the Fireweed Gallery in Alaska. USA Today selected their photograph of Tern Lake for the 2/19/2015 article “What are the happiest, healthiest states in the USA?” They studied photography at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Patricia Wertz graduated from Moore College of Art in Baltimore, MD with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. She has worked as a graphic designer in advertising and magazine publications in Boston, Massachusetts, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Southern California. Additionally she had a long career in the corporate world working for Armstrong World Industries as a designer and colorist before devoting herself to her passion for painting. Ramon Treviño started drawing graffiti in Lancaster, PA in 1988, picking up big-city influence in a small town. Over the years, inspiration started to flow from everywhere, from New York's urban drama to Miami's bright colors; from art school to the Marines; and from Christ the Redeemer. Ramon’s vision is to inspire and encourage this generation (and those to come!) with powerful creative artworks. Ramon has created the Writers Block Crew to train and inspire other graffiti artists. Sadradeen Ameen currently lives in Lancaster PA. Originally a native of Kirkuk, Iraq he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bagdad. Sadradeen has been honored with numerous local and international awards having exhibited all over the world, beginning in Iraq, as well as Belgium the Netherlands, Spain, England and in the US in California and Pennsylvania. Adam Bunting currently teaches Art at Garden Spot High School where he is also the head wrestling coach. He received both his bachelors and masters in Art Education from Millersville University. Adam specializes in watercolor, focusing on creating unique textures, and bold applications of color within in his work. While he paints a variety of subject matters, he is best known for his contemporary renderings of animals. Adam exhibits his work at Red Raven Art Company in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. From her childhood in Philadelphia, to the present day, Deborah Diana has had a passionate interest in art and the natural world around her. After attending the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (PAFA) she became an art educator in a private school, and in her own gallery/studio for over twenty years. She has also completed many commissions for private collections and participated in numerous art shows. Deborah’s art displays the beauty of the avian world. She hopes her images of birds will inspire all of us to be good stewards of the earth, in order to preserve nature’s wonders. One of the many ways to help children and families learn to care about nature is through direct observation of birds. She believes individual actions are one of the greatest forces for conservation! Artist Mary Ann Bradley is an accomplished watercolorist, recognized for her stunning palette of colors, attention to detail and sensitive illumination of her subjects. Her studies drawn from the world of nature are especially noted for delicacy of expression and are currently featured in the Pure Gallery in Mechanicsburg, PA and the Art and Soul Gallery in Camp Hill, PA. Ms. Bradley has taken watercolor workshops with Karlyn Holman, Yachio Beck and . Locally she has taken classes with distinguished painters, Barbara Buer and Earl Blust, and continues to paint weekly with Jeannie Hartman. She has been chosen as one of the emerging artists for the Lancaster Art Collection and has recently been accepted for study with the International Watercolorist Charles Slug at the Watermill in Posara, Italy.
